Arsenal Secures 2-1 Victory Against Nottingham Forest, Moves Two Points off the EPL Table

In a hard-fought match, Arsenal emerged victorious with a 2-1 win over Nottingham Forest, closing the gap to two points behind Premier League leaders Liverpool.

The Gunners demonstrated their dominance at the City Ground, claiming a deserved two-goal lead in the second half through strikes from Gabriel Jesus and Bukayo Saka.

Despite Arsenal’s control of the game, Forest mounted a late comeback, with substitute Taiwo Awoniyi finding the net in the 89th minute to set up a tense finish.

However, Mikel Arteta’s side managed to hold on for the win, securing their second consecutive victory and moving into second place in the league standings.

With Liverpool holding a game in hand, Arsenal now sits just two points behind the leaders. On the other hand, Nottingham Forest finds themselves in a precarious position as their relegation concerns deepen, sitting only two points above the drop zone.
