Stanley Bobbi ‘Bobo’ Nwabali is a Nigerian professional football player who plays as a goalkeeper for Premier Soccer League club Chippa United and the Nigeria national team, Super Eagles. Nwabali began playing for the Rivers State-based club, Go Round FC, in 2019, where he started his career as a striker. He later secured a move to Enyimba in 2020. He has since played for Lobi Stars, Katsina United, and later, Chippa United in 2022.

Nwabali was born in Port Harcourt on 10 June 1996 into an Igbo Christian family. He is from Rivers State. He considers German goalkeeper Manuel Neuer as his role model. His last name Nwabali, means “Child of the Night” in the Igbo language.

Club career

In 2019, Nwabili joined Go Round FC where he started his career as a striker, before later securing a move to Enyimba F.C in 2020, followed by joining Lobi Stars F.C, Katsina United F.C and Chippa United F.C in 2022.

International career
