Sydney Police Officer Charged with Murders of TV Presenter Jesse Baird and Partner

Constable Beau Lamarre-Condon, a 28-year-old police officer, has been charged with the murders of Australian TV presenter Jesse Baird and his boyfriend, Luke Davies. Lamarre-Condon turned himself in at a Sydney police station two days after the discovery of bloodied belongings belonging to the missing couple in Cronulla.

The New South Wales force alleges that the police officer and former celebrity blogger killed the couple at Baird’s home in Paddington, Sydney, on Monday. They further claim that Lamarre-Condon hired a white van to dispose of their bodies, which has not been located. Neighbours reported hearing an argument at the property on the morning of the incident.

A bullet matching Lamarre-Condon’s service gun was reportedly found at the crime scene, along with a significant amount of blood. The suspect had been in a relationship with Jesse Baird until several months ago.

Detective Superintendent Daniel Doherty emphasized the devastating impact of the news on the families and highlighted the importance of locating the bodies for a complete understanding of the case. Investigations are ongoing, and authorities are working to piece together the events leading to the tragic incident.
