RCCG Suspends Senior Pastor Idowu Iluyomade After Wife’s Elaborate Birthday Celebrati - Ali - 06-03-2024
I’m The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has dismissed Idowu Iluyomade, the Senior Pastor of the City of David Parish in Lagos State.
Iluyomade, who also leads the Apapa Family of the church’s annex, was suspended following the extravagant 60th birthday celebration of his wife, Siju.
A source told Church Times that Iluyomade received his suspension letter over the weekend and has been replaced by Pastor Charles Kpandei of the Resurrection Parish Region 11.
The source added that the church's Governing Council suspended Iluyomade for three months after a panel investigated the allegations against him and the parish.
