In a major operation, the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) intercepted codeine-based syrup and Loud, a potent synthetic cannabis strain, worth over N2.1 billion at the Port Harcourt seaports and Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos.
The agency announced this significant bust in a statement released by Femi Babafemi, NDLEA’s Director of Media and Advocacy, which was posted on their website on Sunday. Moreover, the NDLEA also arrested a 70-year-old grandfather found in possession of 57.2kg of cannabis in Nasarawa State. In a separate operation in Ekiti State, two individuals were caught with 426kg of cannabis. |
