From keeping their relationship discreet to having a private engagement and wedding, Simi is finally going public with some details of her relationship with her husband, Adekunle Gold.
In an interview with Bolanle on Ndani TV, the ‘Joromi’ crooner revealed that she met Adekunle Gold on Facebook and their first meeting was at a show she headlined in Lagos.
Simi further revealed that she never knew her husband as a singer on first meeting, but as ‘King of Photoshop’. They went on to become friends, dated and eventually got married. The singer went on to talk about learning the art of mixing and mastering from YouTube, which she showed off in Adekunle Gold’s album. Here is a video of the interview below;

Simi Tells Falz 'Go And Marry'
Studio Brat lead act, Simi has taken a sly dig at rapper and singer, Falz, on Instagram.
Simi who revealed she’d be dropping the video for her hit song ‘By You’ featuring hubby, Adekunle Gold, took a playful dig at Falz, telling him to get married.
The cover for the video showed Simi and Adekunle Gold in the front of a convertible, Falz in his playful mood took to the comment section and asked “Eez there spaize in the back seat (Is there space in the back seat)?”
Replying to the comment, Simi wrote “No sir. Go and marry“.

Adekunle Gold fights back tears, yesterday, as he performs the final funeral rite for his dad who passed away on Tuesday in Lagos.
Recall that, Prince Kosoko, Hakeem Adeyemi months back was appointed by the Lagos State Government as a Permanent Secretary by Governor Ambode.
Adekunle Kosoko, popularly known as Adekunle Gold, suffered a terrible loss as his father passed on late last night.
Prince Hakeem Adeyemi Kosoko, the Permanent Secretary of Education District 4, died during the night after suffering an undisclosed ailment.
Mr Kosoko was flown abroad due to the ailment and his position had to be temporarily filled by a replacement for over a month. He recently returned to Nigeria to recover
Sadly, he passed on hours ago.
A teacher who works under Mr Kosoko’s district in Lagos revealed to LIB that his death was announced to the teachers in Education District 4 this morning. The cause of death has not been revealed.
He is survived by his wife, children, including Adekunle Gold, and more family members.
